Sarah: Camps Coordinator
Sarah brings over 10 years of experience running camps with a focus in Not for Profit work and STEM programming. Her favourite part about camp is building confidence and excitement in others and being a part of that moment when someone overcomes a challenge.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph with a focus in Mathematics, Physics, and Studio Arts and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. She was the Physics and Science Teacher at Armbrae for the 2024/25 school year and is excited to be in this new role.
Claire: Camp Leader
Hello!
My name is Claire, and this is my fourth year working at Armbrae! I’m currently in my fourth year at Dalhousie University, where I study French and Spanish. I plan to become a teacher and hope to teach abroad in the future.
Some of my favourite hobbies include running, painting, lifting weights, and crocheting. I love spending time outdoors—whether that’s at Point Pleasant Park or in the woods behind Armbrae.
I’m so excited to see all your smiling faces and to make this an amazing year of fun!
Noah: Camp Leader
I'm currently a student at the University of King's College pursuing an Honour's Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Studies and English. I'm so excited to be back for my fourth year at Armbrae, where I've worked with the afterschool program, tutoring, and camps. In addition to working at Armbrae, I have been a Day Camp Coordinator in my hometown of Troy, Michigan. This past summer, I also had the privilege of traveling to Kangiqsujuaq, a village in Nunavik, Inuit Nunangat, where I worked as a Summer Literacy Counsellor. Outside of work and school, I love to play my guitar, read, and explore hikes around Halifax.
Leah: Camp Leader
Leah is thrilled to be working at Armbrae Academy Osprey Camps! She is passionate about creating a welcoming, fun, and memorable experience for every camper. Outside of camp, Leah is in her fourth year of studying Neuroscience and Law at Dalhousie University. She'd been involved in camps for ten years and is most excited about creating bonds and memories!
