Osprey Summer Camps
Osprey Summer Camps are open to Armbrae Families and Community Members. Camps run for the months of June to August offering a range of exciting summer experiences for all ages. Our Signature camp themes will include: Lego, Adventure, STEM, Digging Dinos, Superheroes, LooseParts, Art, and more. Our Speciality camps could include: Basketball, Dance, Drama, French, SportBall and Bike Camp.
We pride ourselves in small camp sizes, to allow campers a safe and enjoyable experience.

Debate Camp (Gr 5-9)
At Debate Camp, we provide a fun and inspiring space for youth to develop some timelessly-important skills; to hear opposing views and to confidently articulate their ideas well in the company of others. Debate Camp specializes in parliamentary debate, impromptu and prepared public speaking. We ensure that all program areas are highly interactive and suited to a variety of age groups (grades 5 to 9). All resources provided. All ability levels welcome. 8:30am - 3:30pm M-F, Coburg Campus.

Making Tracks- Bike Camp (Gr 1-4)
Making Tracks Cycling teaches children how to identify bicycle parts, what they and their bikes should be wearing to be safe, bicycle maintenance and repair skills, proper riding safety and skills, safe route mapping and road rules and responsibility, with lots of time to practice and gain confidence in their skill-building. Basketball Camp (Gr 3-6)
Chaz Samuel is basketball skills trainer with years of experience playing the sport at various levels including at the collegiate level in the United States and on the Antigua and Barbuda national team. He's love for basketball has converted into a passion for making an impact in the community while teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball. This program is designed for young athletes from Grades 3-6. It is uniquely designed to progressively teach the fundamentals of basketball and gradually introduce different techniques that will increase their ability to effectively play the sport.
Chaz will be with the camper for the morning and the afternoon will allow campers to be outside and enjoy a small game together foster all the skills they learn each morning.

Sportball is a high energy camp that will be filled with fun & learning for your child. Our professional coaches will progress them through the fundamental skills of a range of sports, working toward game play. Using our non-competitive, educationally-based methodology, our focus will be on having fun, while targeting three key areas of childhood development: sport skills, pro-social skills & motor skills! Our goal is to build your child’s confidence, competence and Physical Literacy!

Specialty Camps
Fit Kids Flag Football (Gr 4-6)
This camp will introduce your child to the skills, rules & fun of Flag Football. With a non-competitive, education-based methodology, our focus is on fun, learning & fitness. Each day children will participate in a fun warm-up, engage in skill practice, learn rules & terminology, and work up to flag football games! During our breaks from Flag Football, Our Fit Kids component will provide an age-appropriate strength and conditioning program for children with an added dimension! Our play-based approach uses creative coaching techniques to captivate imaginations and reduce performance anxiety. Through fun games and activities, we work on Speed, coordination, balance and timing. All of our classes are Coached with Purpose using Sportball Methodology. Our goal is to build your child’s confidence, competence and Physical Literacy. Coaches also introduce children to concepts such as leadership, healthy eating and problem solving.

Improv Drama Camp (Gr 4-6)
Looking to get on stage and hone your confidence in a relaxed, goofy environment? Armbrae Academy and Spontaneity Improv Company have joined forces to provide a unique improv theatrical experience for grades 4-6 . Together we will learn about theatricality, sharing energy with teammates, improv and comedy- with the goal of creating a comfortable performing ensemble by the end of the week.

Spontaneity Improv Company is an improv school and performance company that focuses on building improv, theatre and comedy skills through classes and workshops. Spontaneity gives students the opportunity to get up on stage and perform in front of an audience in regularly scheduled shows.

Senior Bike Camp (Gr 5-7)
This is a camp like no other. Join us for a week of incredible two wheeled experiences around our city. Campers learn independence, road responsibility (including signalling and traffic laws), situation based minor bicycle maintenance and are challenged to accomplish more on their bicycles than they ever thought possible. Your camp leaders are trained and experienced teachers, camp leaders and cyclists.
